Ungerman provides a ringside seat to his remarkable journey from his humble beginnings in Kensington Market to scrappy pugilist in West Toronto, to being a soldier in the RCAF during the Second World War. His drive to succeed helped him build his family’s poultry business, all the while becoming one of Canada’s most successful boxing promoters and a pioneer in introducing closed circuit television to the country.
